A Bollard Scan Northeast of England Approved Agent

Managing director of Oculus Integrity Services, Ashley Mitchell said: “We are delighted to announce a partnership with fast growing Dutch inspection company, Bollardscan.

“BollardScan delivers a highly reliable, scientifically underpinned way of testing marine bollards in a non-destructive way. The BollardScan™ is a unique method to establish the reliability of the bollard and its foundation and, whether it still meets the design requirements of the structure, this method of inspection is fully approved by Lloyd’s Register.

“Also, as part of our partnership with Bollardscan we have the availability to use Quayconsult, a specialist in port infrastructure inspection. This method specialises in detecting defects, both through non-destructive testing and visual inspections. Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) is used to test sheet piles, removing the requirement for divers and stand-by vessels.

“We are extremely excited about this partnership and what it can offer our clients, I would like to thank Willem Van Hoorn of Bollardscan for the opportunity to work together and we look forward to a bright and successful future.
